Information Environments Research Unit talk
Tim Parsons, Maxime Vers and myself were asked to show work we had been developing at the latest Information Environments Research Unit talk.
Above is an example of some of Tim Parsons work called 'the Half Pint glass' at the Design Museum. I won't go into any more about his work as you really need to check it out for yourself by clicking here.
Maxime showed some very interesting work he has been experimenting with using Second Life. It mixes the visual language of Avatars with religious and in some cases sexual connotations and questions how far some of us are away from virtual existence.
Above is one example of some of this work. See more here.
