Lukid
This is part of an ongoing exploration to create a remix music video for Lukid (Werkdisc). The idea is to reverse the concept of a music video in which the video is cut to the music. Here the music is created by the video.
The song is split into it's component notes and samples and the video screen is split into a musical notation score and highlight areas detected in the video will play samples depending on where they are on the screen.
This will take the form of both an interactive version in which participants in the music video will create the song using the camera. The idea being that Lukid fans can film themselves in their rooms where they usually listen to Lukid and the shape of their rooms and their actions will create the track, allowing participation in the creation process and giving something back to people who support the artist.
The samples used in this example are not from the song and the project is still in the testing phase.
