Credit crunch monsters / Credit crunch survival kit
Blogging with bar graphs

An experiment in repurposing an information graphic into a sculpture that represented a meaningful quantity.

The above information graphic is made from the number of sentences that I came across in the Financial Times that made reference to the credit crunch between certain dates.

Firstly, I produced a credit crunch survival kit for investment bankers out of the pages that the sentences were taken from.

I then asked people to rearrange the newspaper cuttings that they had come across from the information graphic to represent what the credit crunch would look like if it was a monster. These are some of the results.
